equipped with latest technologyThe Canopus brand will initially launch 4 new electric scooters namely Aurora, Scarlett, Colette and Valeria. The Canopus e-scooter incorporates several patented German and Korean technologies, such as CAMIVT technology for the transmission, FOC technology for the controller, tailor-made motors and a highly effective energy conservation system. Canopus’ R&D center has been set up in Ahmedabad and the company is planning to start a production unit in Rajasthan. Soon the production of scooters will start, which will be 99 percent indigenous.

Scooter prototype readyATD Group and SRAM & MRAM Group will invest Rs 100 crore in the EV segment in a phased manner. The prototypes of the upcoming electric scooter are ready and the company is in the process of setting up a nationwide dealer network. It is expected that these vehicles will be available in the market by March 2022. The scooter will use state-of-the-art technologies like IoT based telematics smart TFT dashboard and mobile. Canopus electric scooter can be priced between Rs 50,000 to Rs 1 lakh. Canopus, which operates across the country, is headquartered in Noida.
